Corvallis, Oregon is settled in the Pacific Northwest, 45 miles east of the coast. Home to Oregon State University, Corvallis is recognized for being an influential and educated city. Agriculture, research, and education are its primary industries. The people hold a deep concern for changing and improving their world and community. 

In Benton County, in which Corvallis resides, only one in four persons claim a religious identification, and the largest percentage classify their religion as “other”.  Evangelical Christians account for less than 4% of the total population.

There is a great need and opportunity for Gospel work in Corvallis. Although it is not a metropolitan, college town, Corvallis is an influential and strategic city to make the salvific work of Christ known throughout the Pacific Northwest.
