Mission Corvallis exists to serve the city of Corvallis by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serving the community in love, and worshipping God in Spirit and truth
VISION
Jesus Christ is our only hope for salvation. It is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone that we receive forgiveness and reconciliation. By proclaiming Christ’s work on the cross and by showing how the Gospel is applicable in every aspect of life, we pray the Lord's presence will be known in Corvallis.
We believe the Gospel empowers and equips us for living in this beautiful, but broken, world. Our vision is to establish a multi-generational, diverse, community church in Corvallis within 5-6 years. We seek to replicate and plant other churches in the region and establish ministries to serve the welfare of the city. Along with this goal, we seek to launch a Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) on the campus of Oregon State University. Our vision for Corvallis is more than to establish a church, but to establish a Gospel presence, a presence that will be felt in the city, university, and the region.

VALUES
All of the Gospel in All of Life:
The Bible tells the story of God redeeming a beautiful, but broken world. It recounts how God did not abandon his people or creation; rather, in love He pursues, redeems, and transforms us. He does this in and through the person and work of Jesus Christ, which is the center of the Gospel. The Gospel accomplishes more than personal salvation; it is God’s outworking of redemption in all of life.
We believe the Gospel is for all of life - God calls us to worship, glorify, and enjoy Him in every aspect of life. We do this through embracing, living out, and rejoicing in the Gospel.
Putting it all together - Although each aspect (Embracing, Living out, and Rejoicing in the Gospel) is distinct, they are meant to be intercon-
nected and interdependent. We believe the best way to embrace the Gospel is to live out and rejoice in the Gospel, the only way we can
live out the Gospel is if we embrace and rejoice in it, and the only way we can truly rejoice in the Gospel is if we have embraced it and are
living it out. These values overlap in a comprehensive way, with the sole purpose to worship, glorify, and enjoy God in everything. Within
the context of a local church, believers are able to understand and incorporate these core values into their life. The three overlapping
components help us understand the all-encompassing nature of the Gospel, the Good News of Christ, and how it affects our entire being.

- Embracing the Gospel - This is the Gospel message, the “Good News” of Jesus Christ: that He died on the cross for our sins and through His death and resurrection we obtain salvation by faith. With our identities now rooted in Christ, we grow in his grace and love through a personal relationship with God. We live in joyful submission to God’s Word, the Bible, which reveals Christ and the depth of the Gospel from Genesis to Revelation.
- Living out the Gospel - The significance of Christ’s death and resurrection extends beyond our individual lives. It affects every aspect and situation in life including our relationships, our jobs, and our communities. As Christians, we understand that the Gospel transforms our families, cities, and the world. We are called to embody the Gospel in how we engage, serve, and love others.
- Rejoicing in the Gospel - We respond to the Gospel in worship. Our worshipful response to God encompasses all of our thoughts, actions, and affections. Since all of life is worship, we rejoice in how the Gospel is applicable, needed, and celebrated within all of life: personally, socially, and culturally.
